Where is the location of the Actual Data?

I have a news Items pages and I need to add historial items. I need to manually alter the "CreateDate" value so that news items are ordered properly.

    Any help appreciated.

Don't think it's a good idea to alter that data in the database (think it's stored in cmsContentVersion), you'd better add an extra property to set the date for sorting.

    Cheers,

DIrk's right (also this is hardly a problem with the core, it's an API question).

Otherwise you could look at something like CMSImport to be it from your old site

    Thanks for the quick response.

PS. If this is posted in the wrong place that's not my fault. If the developer is to name the forum section "General" there is going to be confusion. Its also really bad form to pickup on this.

Thanks again for the information. appreciate it.

I wasn't meaning to have a dig, you'll get more visibility from the community in the appropriate forums. That's what people subscribe to and browse regularly.
