Hi
Let's say that we have a node with some child nodes that are protected by Role based Public access.
Example:
Role 'A' has access to:
/somenode /somenode/child1 /somenode/child2
then wen have a child node of 'somenode' that is proteced by another role; 'B'.
Example
Role 'B' (and not 'A') has access to:
/somenode/child3
Would be nice.. however, if a user wich is a member of role 'A' tries to access 'B' he will be granted access, which seems to me to be wrong.
Am I wrong here? Am I doing something wrong here? Is this perhaps not possible ?
*bump*
any thougnts ?
It seems to be inheritance from the "somenode" node, so try to remove the access for User A of the somenode node and see what happens
Thomas
The problem however is that I would like to override the settings from the "somenode" for the "child3" node.
In other words; role 'A' has access to somenode and it's childer, but not the "child3" node. Role 'B' does however have access to the "child3" node.
With thanks,H
