    Anyone Experiencing PDF Download Issues... from PDFs Uploaded to Umbraco

    IE7,  XP, UMB 4.5.2

    Current Server Settings:

    Even after maxing out settings, I still incur issues when downloading:
    <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="2097151" />

    <system.webServer>
     <security>
      <requestFiltering>
       <requestLimits maxAllowedContentLength="52428800"/>
      </requestFiltering>
     </security>
    </system.webServer>

    What download issues are you having?

    The above settings don't have anything to do with download. This is just upload.

    The PDF download will lock up/freeze and not continue to download the PDF, nor display the file.  These files are pretty small... 1MB - 2MB.

    This is a known problem with WIN SVR 2008 R2 you have to download the hotfix! http://forums.iis.net/t/1161071.aspx Microsoft Issue.  I installed the fix and all downloading issues went away.
