    Manage Hostnames

I've got 10 nodes/websites in Umbraco and each will have different domain names:

    Node 1 - www.example.com

    Node 2 - www.urieka.co.uk

    Node 3 - www.bobsyouruncle.co.uk

And so forth. I have set the UseDomainPrefixs to True. I have also logged on to the Domain Name Control Panels and set up Web forwarding to my Umbraco server but when browsing to any of the above domains I see the top node. Why isn't this working? Do I need to set anythign up in IIS? It's IIS 7.

One thing that will complicate is this is hosted on Azure and will mean if I do need to do anything on IIS, I will have to continually update the the package and roll out every time a new domain is added.

    Hi Cavan,

You need to set up all the hostnames you want to use in IIS, so your IIS site needs to have all 3 hostnames you've specified above.

Thank you for replying so quickly Rich. I suspected that would be the case and using the Umbraco Accelerator, this cannot be done. I'm a little stuck here then!
