Getting a weird error when trying to embed images into a Richtext Editor

Help! I'm getting some weird error when I try to insert an image into a Richtext Editor via the "Insert/edit image" button in the toolbar. I even get it when I manually paste the HTML via the "Edit HTML Source" button. Here is the HTML:

    <p><img title="atm-signage1" src="/media/6853/atm-signage1.jpg" alt="atm-signage1" width="193" height="299" /></p>

And here is the error I get:

    Hi Michael

What version of Umbraco do you experience this on?

    Hi Michael

Do you know if there has been made any sort of customization to the installation that could be the cause of this behaviour?

Not to my knowledge. There are a few packages installed though.

    • umbraco RSS generator Installer
    • RSS Suit
    • Nibble.ConfigTree
    • ND Replacement TidyNet
    • FamFamFam Icon Package
    • XSLTsearch
    • uComponents
    • Umbraco Contour
    • Umbraco Courier
    • Umbraco Ninja

    Hmm

Ok...is this happening in all browsers (if you have tested with more than one) ?

At a glance on the listed packages I don't think it can be one or more of them conflicting...

Yep, I'm getting it in all browsers. I'm not sure what to do. :(

Shameless bump. I can't figure this one out and it's pretty bad if I cannot actually insert an image into TinyMCE.

    Hi Michael

Hmm, have you checked that the proper permissions have been set on the umbraco root folder?

Could you also elaborate a bit on what you have done so far to fix the error?

That was it. The permissions were set, but I guess they were lost somehow in a migration or something. Thanks so much!

    Hi Michael

I'm happy to hear that you got i solved. Permission issues can give one a lot of headaches, huh? :) Sorry I did not get back to you about this sooner.
