    GZIP Compression Help

    Hi there. I am currently hosting my site using a shared hosting. I tried steps on enabling GZIP in Umbraco but it does not work. My shared hosting only allows static compression. Do I need to enable dynamic compression for GZIP to work? Thank you very much.

    From what I know Umbraco should work fine without GZIP. Have you tested?

    Yes it's working without GZIP, but I really want to GZIP my site to improve performance. Thanks.

    Yes that's something that your hosting provider should enable but if they don't then i guess you'll have to live with that or move =)
