    v5 training courses

    Hey guys,

    I've only recently certifed as a level 1 developer for v4. I was planning in doing the level 2 course but now with the release of the v5 courses, what path should I take?

    Taking the v4 level 2 course seems a little redundant, yet taking the level 1 v5 course also seems unnecessary since (from what I can see in the overview) I'll be doing pretty much the same things as I've just learnt. 

    Would I be able to jump either straight onto the v5 level 2 or do the conversion?

    What are my options?

    If you are going to be developing / supporting v4.x sites in the future I would advise the v4 level 2 course first, and then the conversion course.  Especially if you can convince your boss to pay for the pair :-)

    If you are going to be jumping straight in to v5 sites you should be able to go straight for the level 2 v5 course.  v5 is based on the ASP.Net MVC framework, so it would be a good idea to familiarise yourself with this first as it is quite a fundamental shift if you are an ASP.Net web forms guy.
