I have to develop a little web-application which main task is to handle data and generate reports. Before learning Umbraco 5 I just want to know if this CMS meets my requirements. Maybe you can give me a view hints, which Packages are useful for my Projekt.
So, generally speaking the web-application is a ticket-management-tool. There are many Tabels like: Locations Events Customer Tickets etc.
Is is possible with Umbraco to autogenerate and customize forms for this tables which enables a user to do the so called CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations?
Additional Functionality:
Authentication (User / Usergroups) Direct access on tables in the database (ADO.net) Reporting Services multi-client capability (nice to have)
Please tell me, if Umbraco is the right thing for me. For some good tipps I would be very thankful! :)
