    Anyone Knows the timetable for Umbraco v5 using Mysql

    Hi Umbraco Masters. Can anyone tell me the timetable for umbraco V5 to be able to use Mysql ?  Thanks.

    I don't think there is a timetable for this. Not even sure if v5 will support mysql. Currently it only supports sql server 2008 and sql ce. Perhaps with Hive you can write your own provider which can support mysql.

    If Umbraco team will switch u5 from NHibernate to direct SQL, that probably will be some time later, i think than we can wait Mysql version of U5. With current solution i don't think it will be.

    Yeah, but the umbraco team will halt u5 development, so I wouldn't make any plans.
