Unfortunately I don't think the forum has that feature. Generally you can post feature suggestions in the our.umb dev -> Features forum if you're interested.
Otherwise as a workaround, you can use Google search like so: chicane site:our.umbraco.org/forum

Why can't I search this FORUM by user name?
