I just installed newest Umbraco 4.9 and after just few minutes I noticed few issues. I'm not sure whether it is a bug or I did not installed it very well.
First, what is really bothering me is the thing that old code I used which hooks to umbraco events is no longer working. I just do not get handlers invoked. The same code works in older 4.7 version.
Other thing is that when I try to delete some file from treeview It does not deletes it actually. It just stands with a message deleting as a text of a node.
The official issue log is now at http://issues.umbraco.org/issues/ So you can check there if it's been reported and, if not, you can report them yourself. For the record I haven't encountered your issues.
