    Securing Member Profile Parameters

    I have a site in Umbraco that now needs to store information such as telephone numbers and family members dates of birth.

    How would others approach encrypting this information in the database?

    I can see that adding the parameters to the Umbraco built in membership system does not encrypt these items.

    Be grateful for any advice on how others would approach this.
