Yes I ran into this the other day as well but forgot all about it because I was busy. If you add it to Codeplex will you please write the url in here so I can at least remember to vote? :)
As Richard suggested you should add it to codeplex.
Also include how you would expect it to copy a child doc type, as I can see people having a problem if the copy occurred to a different parent and they lost the properties ;)
Copying documenttype bug
Copying a documenttype causes the properties of a master documenttype to be added to the new documenttype.
