I am trying to change passwords of my sites members through the admin. When I type in the new password in both boxes and save, it saves without errors. But when I go and check in the DB, it is not changed. the members password remains the same. This is also the same with login field. And the member group I assign doenst get saved either.

The umbraco version is 4.7.2. There is a login form that allows members access to the front end of the site.
