    Best practices for moving Media Library from Umbraco 3.x to 4.x

    Has anyone ever moved a large umbraco media library from a 3.x site to a 4.x site? I need to do this and it seems that any method would be extremely time consuming.

    Why would it be time consuming? Are you upgrading your umbraco install, or doing a fresh install and then migrating content?

    Hi slace, thanks for replying! I only say time consuming because there are hundreds of files spread throughout various folders in the media library. If I were to just upload all the files, and re-create the folder structure, it would take a while. I am doing a fresh install and then migrating content.

    CMSImport may be your best option. I'm not sure if it supports media though
