    Issue Inserting Table (TinyMCE)

    Not seen this bug before, but it seems that on Umbraco 4.0.3 if there is more than 1 richtext editor on a Tab then inserting tables does not work.

    When you hit insert table, the form just refreshes and no code is injected.

    • Is this because the JS does not know which RichText Editor field to target?

    Attached is a video showing this problem. I've had a look on the bug tracker and I coudn't find it listed there.

    Anybody have any ideas of solutions? If not I'll raise it as a bug on Codeplex. Thanks, Lau

    Lau,

    Are you using Chrome?

    I've seen this bug in Chrome but it works ok in FF and IE. think I've written about it before, but never got off my backside to raise a bug on Codeplex (I don't think).

    Ah interesting, its Safari, which is also a WebKit browser so this could be the cause.

    I will do some browser testing and post back the results (across different versions of WebKit as well).
