You're correct, that's all you have to do, package up the files, upload to new server, restore your new database from a backup and you should be good. Just remember to modify the database info in web.config as well as the folder permissions accordingly.
Migrating Umbraco to new web host
Any docs out there about migrating Umbraco to a new server or web host? I didn't see any.
I'm a programmer, not so much an IT or database guy. But I imagine I can just do a database .bak and then load it on the new server?
Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
