    Quick Question about members

    Hi

    On a standard asp.net site, you might check a member's role on page load in order to decide different things.  For example:

    • Whether to redirect or server.transfer to another page
    • What items on the page to display
    • etc

    How is this done in Umbraco - do we always have to rely on usercontrols for this sort of thing (I am not using razor yet... its close... reaaaaal close...)
