I'm finding that my Examine search is returning some unusual results, which is remedied by reindexing the site, which is fine. However, I was using the Examine Dashboard to do this, but I'm finding that this hangs with only one item in the queue and the only way I can populate the index now is by republishing the site, which isn't ideal.
Just wondering if anyone has come across this and if they've got around it?
Continuing to look into this, it looks like FullText Search may be causing the issues. I'm unable to rebuild the index from scratch programatically, but I can reindex content using an admin action with FullText search but for some reason it only picks up about a quarter of the nodes when indexing....
