New to Umbraco
Hi All,
In my next project I'm going to work using Umbraco and .Net. I need help and advice from you how to start learning this.
Thanks,
Sita
Argfffhhh, was writing up some summary of resources before hitting the wrong key. Dammit. In short:
- Install umbraco using the web pi or consider using Darren's service
- Install Warren's Creative Website Starter available here in the 'Projects' space. Follow install instructions documented on this site and learn about the basic building blocks such as document types, templates, macro's, xslt, ...

Good luck on your journey.

Dirk have mentioned some great ressources above.
I also think you should take a look at the presentation slides from Doug's "What I wish I had known in my first 30 days with umbraco", which you will find here http://blog.percipientstudios.com/2009/6/22/codegarden-%2709-presentation.aspx
