Umbraco version 4.11, DateFolders 1.4 using Razor macros.
Many apologies if this is the wrong part of the forum.
I am pretty happy with DateFolders and have created a number of posts, which organise themselves nicely according to the date I have given them. Folders created automatically. I can navigate to the given url of any year month or day.
However, I do get a 404 when I try to navigate to the niceUrl or plain url of any news item. I have defined a template for the doctype in question but it is not being found:
Page not found
No template exists to render the document at url 'http://localhost:64731/news/2013/05/experiment.aspx'.
If I can't show an individual Blog post then I don't really have a blog at all. I have tried fixpaths (didn't really expect it to work, and it didn't), rebuilding the site. No idea what to do next and not finding anything on Google.
Sorry guys. I deleted all posts and started creating more. These work. DateFOlders just couldn't cope with me having applied a new template to the newsItem.
