    Umbraco.library.getitem question

    Does Umbraco.library.getitem () use the database to find the requested property, or does it used the cached XML ?

    Mikael,

    All functions publicly exposed in library class are available as xslt extensions for front-end display, so, yes, GetItem() uses the cached xml!
