    Active Directory for Members

    I have followed the steps in this article http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/how-tos/membership-providers/active-directory-membership-provider and successfully setup active directory for users logging in to the admin, but I'm having problems setting up active for members. When I setup "Public Access" for a document and I want to use active directory to login members. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    It seems the article is about using the AD membership provider for CMS login (Users) while the 'Public Access' is for website members. These are separate things but I am guessing that you are using the AD membership provider for the membership as well then. What specifically are you having problems with?

    here is the solution: change the default Provider to your Active Directory Membership Provider:

    <membership defaultProvider="MyADMembershipProvide">

    hope that is going to help !

    Cheers
