    Suggest todays date in datePicker field?

    Hi there,

    Is it possible to automaticly suggest todays date in datePicker data type?

    I want to use it in a documenttype for news, and I want it to fill out todays date to make it more easy for my client.

    Hi Kalle

    I'm not sure if it's possible to select todays date by default...

    However I think it should be possible to do if you install the "Standards Value" http://our.umbraco.org/projects/developer-tools/standard-values-in-umbraco package. Unfortunately this only works in v 4.0.x at the moment but I think an upgrade will be available soonish...
