Hi guys I have a scenario where I don't want to apply role based authentication but i would like to be able to have a checkbox list against certain doc types so a content administrator can highlight who that content applies to
I was wondering how I'd go about creating such a datatype?
Maybe you can have a look at the already existing MemberPicker datatype? Or if you are talking about back-office users, you also have the UserPicker in the uComponents package.
Hi Michael Neither of these satisfy what I'm trying to do..
Instead of using Roles Based Protection I need to be able to select which roles apply to a node.. the member picker is each individual user.. the UserPicker is the same..
I need to be able to render a control just like the control rendered in the permissions/security popup but to a node itself..
anyone have any controls like this or is there a custom control I could build to do this?
