    Can't authenticate to web server (UserHasAccess is true)

    Hi folks,

    Is there anything special that has to be set to connect to a web service? When I try to execute the test form for the AuthenticateUser web method, it always returns false. I first gave my own user access, then another admin, and neither can authenticate, although when I call UserHasAccess it returns true for both of them. I'm pretty sure the passwords are correct. Do you have to hash the passwords or anything weird?

    I don't understand why, but this post has disappeared from the front page even though it is newer than all the others. When browsing the pages of this forum, I notice they go from newest to oldest... to newest to oldest, over and over. Weird.
