Source Code for Paypal IPN Package

    Hi all

This is a plea for help.

http://our.umbraco.org/projects/paypal-ipn - this is not compatible with version 4.7 and Darren Ferguson has filed the source code away somewhere safe.

I was wondering / hoping if reader of this post could check to see if they have a copy of the source code from when it was available.

I have a site that I am 99% committed to upgrading to 4.7 but it runs this package. If I am able to obtain the source code then hopefully it can be made compatible.

If it can't be found, then I will have to scratch my head and figure out an alternative plan for this site.

My issue is that I upgraded my test site from V4.5.2 / ASP.NET3.5  to V4.7.1 / ASP.NET4 (without knowing it broke this package), developed some new functionality and now wish to upgrade my live site and add the functionality.

    So my options are:

    1. Resolve this package incompatibility

    2. Recreate my test site on V4.5.2 / ASP.NET 3.5 and rework the new functionality so it is compatible with the older build.

If anyone has any bright ideas re the above I'd love to hear from you.

I have learnt a good lesson in running upgrades...

    Cheers

    Nigel

    Wondering...

Is it possible to roll back from 4.7.1 to 4.5.2 ? ie can anyone confirm if there were any database changes, or if it was solely code changes.

If so I assume replacing the following directories and files is all that is needed:

    • web.config
    • /bin/*
    • /umbraco/*
    • /umbraco_client/*

    Thanks

    Nigel
