    Problem installing a package

    I want to install Embedded Content to my umbraco.

    No matter I use Umb Repository or download the package and try to install as local one I get the same error:

    The file '/umbraco/EmbeddedContent/UpgradeSchema.ascx' does not exist.

    The package contains the file UpgradeSchema.ascx, the files are just all zipped in one file so is it a problem with unzipping or with the version?

     

    I get a similar problem when trying to install uComponents package:

    The file '/umbraco/plugins/uComponents/uComponentsInstaller.ascx' does not exist.

     

    I use Umbraco 4.8.1

    I'll be grateful for a solution. Thank you

    Hi,

    Just a wild guess, do you have write permissions to the /umbraco/ folder?  Both of these packages place files into the /umbraco/ folder during their installation, and if they don't have permission to do so you might get the above error.
