Has anyone attempted to add a simple bug tracker to Umbraco?
I need a real simple free bug tracker and it would be nice to be integrated into Umbraco but would be really interested to hear what everyone is using otherwise.
Had a quick look at BugTracker.NET which looks ok.
Why would you want to integrate a bug tracker into umbraco? Do you need that info to be versioned, available for your site users? I personally don't see the need for that! I'd use umbraco for what it's designed for - serving content!
Anyway, there's a number of nice available open source bug tracking software which can be found here.
I have the requirement as my clients like everything to be integrated, with one logon if possible, the CMS, e-commerce, google analytics, feature requests etc.
IMO clients generally don't see the CMS, E-Commerce, Stats etc. to be any different, it's all related to their website so why should they need to login to 3 different systems?
I wasn't suggesting Umbraco as the solution but something along the line of installing a .NET bug tracker and integrating the logins with a link from the Umbraco UI.
Bug / issue tracking?
