Removing a package that does not fully uninstall

What are my options for removing a package that does not completely uninstall?

I had an issue when I installed Blog4Umbraco so I removed it and reinstalled it but I had DateFolders already installed so unticked the box to uninstall that component as I didn't want to lose all existing DateFolders. The package remains now twice in the installed packages node once with just DateFolders listed and on the other with DateFolder and 9 numerically named Macros?

Nice addition to a bad day so any help appreciated.

Rather tricky, but me thinks your only option is to have a look at what was being installed (can be found in package.xml if you open up the zip file) and manually uninstall the components that were installed! It's not pretty, but I'm quite confident it will work.

Hope this helps brighting up your day :)

    Cheers,

    /Dirk

I was afraid you would say that.

The problem is the numbered macros do not exist and so not sure how to remove them. I suppose I will have to dig into the database to try and find where they are being referenced and try and remove them.
