I don't think this should be done in some generic datatype, it looks like you should just alter your xslt a little to accommodate for the microformat mark-up.
However, you should also consider the worth of having microformat support as opposed to the polution of your mark-up, have a look at Jeff Attwoods rant about this. I tend to agree with him and also with his reasons for supporting microformats after all.
Google is obviously also why I want to implement these tags. But I do understand everything he says. Hmmm... I might put this off a bit. I have way too much on my hands anyhow ;-)
It LOOKS simple as Jeff says ;-) And that is also what I was thinking. But he apparently wasn't able to make it work without almost loosing his mind ;-)
You can always start small and just tag you company home address. It is still something they are "just trying out" at Google.
But I think I might go with the RDF format instead of the Microformats markup that Jeff looked at. There is no clash with CSS classes.

It would be pretty cool to create a datatype to hold this. I am just not sure how one would tackle this.
Any thoughts? I am just looking at this for fun right now, so it is at the absolute bottom of my priority list.

It does look dead-simple though, just add a bit of mark-up and maybe your Google results will look a lot cooler! :)
