Extending session in front-end

Hi,

Sorry for my English language, I have some question about how to extend session time out in front-end. In my login page I implement login control from ASP.NET but when I try to increase session time by using session-state it seem like session time not increase. How should I do to increase or decrease session time. I already try to changed "userIsOnlineTimeWindow" value but it also does't work.
