    Does Uploading GlobalHelpers.cshtml require an app pool restart?

    Hi I was just wondering if uploading a GlobalHelpers.cshtml for the first time restarts the app pool or requires an app pool restart?

    Assuming you mean creating GlobalHelpers.cshtml in the App_Code folder, then yes, it does recycle the app pool as soon as you copy anything into App_Code
