    MVC Partial View Macro vs MVC Partial View

    Hi,

    Is there a recommened way or best practices on whether to use Macro (MVC View) vs actal MVC Partial View?

    Hi Bilal,

    I would say generally use a Partial View, the use case for Macro Partial View are either in TinyMCE or the macro picker in the Grid.

    I am still starting my way with Umbraco. I would like to understand the data structure and api for umbraco, any reference?

    For rendering consider it a standard MVC pattern with Views and Partials, for accessing Umbraco data see this documentation and detail on the UmbracoHelper here
