I'm having some difficulty in writing the XSLT to do what I need.  I suspect that there might be a better way to do it but haven't discovered it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Need:

To queue content and publish the link, image and teaser text on the home page when content meets the publish date, but not expired.

I need to do something very similar to this post, but the link posted is dead:

Here's my approach, but it doesn't work:

My content Structure:

Content

-Home page

-Pershible Content Folder

--Pershible Content Item 1

--Pershible Content Item 2

--Pershible Content Item 3

Then create a macro and set it on the Home Page that selects only the one non-expired Pershible Content Item.
