    Umbraco 7.4 Active Directory authentication

    Hi all,

    I am currently looking at authenticating the back office with Active Directory.

    I have got it to a place whereby I can successfully sign in with AD credentials. However, I have to create the user first manually (with no password of course). Is this how its supposed to work?

    I have seen elsewhere that its suggested that any AD user can login (without already being set up within Umbraco first) and just have Writer access. If this is the normal functionality then I must have missed something along the way as this does not work for me.
