    Umbraco 7.5.4 Virtual Directory Issues

    Hi, I am having issues creating a virtual directory under my Umbraco 7.5.4 installation - this issue is identical to what I am seeing -

    Can anyone help me?

    I have tried the application on a site of its own outside of the Umbraco install and it works fine. Also this application works fine on a v6.

    Could I ask, why are you using a Virtual Directory?

    You probably have all sorts of conflicts in routing. Why don't you use a sub domain instead?

    Hi Ciaran,

    Have you ensured the path is in the "umbracoReservedPaths" app settings in web config? If you put the path into there it will bypass the Umbraco routing to allow access to it.

    Although I cannot guarantee this will work at all it would be my first port of call.
