    Umbraco upgrade

    Hi,

    I setup a solution on my local machine.

    But it keeps trying to update. I dont want that at all.

    I need a solution which matches the live version.

    Any way to avoid upgrading?

    Hi Peter

    If you are using Nuget to setup your version locally then use a version which matches your live site:

    eg

    Install-Package UmbracoCms -Version 7.7.9

    would install version 7.7.9

    similarly if you not using Nuget, download the relevant version from the downloads page:

    https://our.umbraco.com/download/releases/

    or have I misunderstood!

    Hi all,

    It turned out that the sys admin, gave me then wrong version of the database. It was driving me crazy.
