One thing I noticed when I upgraded from 4.0.4 was that my admin password was no longer hashed in 4.5..... which meant when I tried to log in, it wouldn't work. I copied the hashed value directly from a db backup and overwrote the non-hashed version and then I could log in again....and it was plain sailing from there. I'm assuming this is a bug, has anybody else come across this?
Updating 4.1 to 4.5
Is somewhere a detailed description how to Upgrading to 4.5 from Version 4.0
