    Is Installing Skin a medentory step?

    Hi All,

    I am in middle of installation of new umrbaco. On 5Th step i am asked for installation of skin. Is it mendatory to have a skin?

    I am not able to process further.

    The following is the UI where i stuck and cant progress. Please help ASAP.

    Skins are not manditory but are a great idea ..

    Yes may be a Vannila tempalte skin can be added in above list and make it mendatory to provide more facelities.

    Can you please tell me how can i escape from the above screen, e.g moving to last step (You Are Done) without selecting skin.

    I do think  vanilla template (i.e. no skin) would be a benefit

    It's already installed at this stage.  Just open a new browser and goto http://domain/umbraco/

    Should bring up a login window.

    Login and your off.

    If you don't feel comfortable doing that.. just change the browser url to show step=theend

    This is implimented (I looks some one is carefully listening your views.. Feeling high on sky) Thanks.

    I just instlalling the new 4.7 and see the option for "Choose not to install a stater kit"

    Hi Jigar

    Just out of curiosity...what version of Umbraco did you experience that you could not avoid the starter kit? As far as I remember for the versions after 4.5.2 and before 4.7 the option has been there when I have made installs? :-) But maybe I missed out on the first release of 4.6 or something like that...as mentioned...I'm just curious.
