    Seeing splash page instead of website after server went down

    Hi everyone,

    My site stopped working a while ago (spinning loading wheel in browser but nothing else) so I contacted my web hosts

    and they got the shared server working again

    But now instead of my site all I see is the splash page ( With the "Looks like there is still work to do.." message).

    I don't want to attempt to login to the back end in case I mess something up

    Please can anyone help!?

    Hi James,

    Try logging into the backend and publishing any page, should regenerate the cache file

    Glad to hear it!  FYI, I believe this is fixed in 4.7, but there are some workarounds if this becomes a problem and you can't upgrade.
