    having problem with manual setup on windows 2003

    hi everybody

    i have to install umbraco manually,

    i have windows 2003 server with .net framework 4

    i followed this topics and read topics like this , but i still have this problem :

    Server Error in '/' Application.


    Configuration Error

    Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

    Parser Error Message: An error occurred loading a configuration file: Directory 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\umbraco\install\config' does not exist. Failed to start monitoring file changes.

    i edited wbconfig for db and .., so what's next step?

    could anybody help me?

    Sounds to me that your umbraco root site is not configured correctly. How did you set up your iis?

    thanks dirk for your reply, i did all things, but i have iis 6 and i don't know if it requires any things to be done with application pool or not?

    did you mean this?

    you have to give the permissions for 'NETWORK SERVICE' in IIS 6.0/windows 2003, check the permission settings section in the how to install guide.

    I have tried the  install in IIS 6(windows 2003). and IIS 7 in(Windows 7) without any problem following the manual install guide.
