    Umbraco website in IIS?

    Hello.

Forgive me a possibly stupid beginners question. I have installed umbraco and a starter kit and can log onto my back-end/back-office on localhost. No problems.

But when I open my IIS I can't see the Umbraco website anywhere. Not as a website, nor as a virtual directory.

Why is this? And how can I fix it?

Localhost and IIS is to different things you need to setup a "new" site in the IIS so you are able to see it in there how to set up your fist IIS web site

Aha. I had gotten the idea that the installation pack also created a website for Umbraco if you had an active webserver on the machine. My mistake.

    Thanks anyway.
