I recently had to get my host to restore a website I had running from their backup, ever since this happend I have had an intermittent problem with both the back end and front end of the site showing
Cannot open database "xxx" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'xxx'.
The connection string is correct becuase most of the time this works but it just seems to randomly decide to kick you off.
I also recently updated from 4.5.2 to umbraco 4.7 although the problem did seem to start after the database restore.
Has anyone had a similar issue? I am hosted with Arvixe.
I dont think so and if they did I would expect not to be able to contact the DB at all but this problem seems to only happen every now and then, most of the time I can login to the backend but sometimes it will throw the error.

Do you know if your host for some reason have changed the credentials you should use in the web.config?
