    High port required?

A client has asked if we can host umbraco on a server in our data center and the client manage/develop the website via web browser at his business office.

The sample video shows the admin interface on a high port, i.e. not on port 80.

    Is a high port required?

    Hi Paducah,

No, you can host Umbraco on any port you like - both the back office and the front end use the same website.

    HTH,

    Hendy
