    installing Umbraco with bluehost

    Hi!

I have a number of domains with bluehost - all of which currently run on wordpress. I'm wanting to start learning umbraco. I'm trying to install it into www.jamesburden.net/umbraco. I'm using microsoft web platform installer. It all goes fine up to the point where it asks me what I want to install the database server. The default value in the field is ".\sqlexpress". But just proceeding on that basis doesn't work. Do I need to point it to somewhere on my domain?

Hope this question makes sense. I feel very confused!

    Thanks for any help.

    James

Hi. In order to install Umbraco to a SQL Express server you need already to have a database and a sql user account configured for it.

But isn't BlueHost a LAMP only hosting organization?   Umbraco requires a Windows Hosting environment - correct me if I am wrong about Bluehost being a LAMP only environment
