    Upgrading Umbraco 5 version

    Hello All,

    I have a website which runs under my local and I want to upgrade its Umbraco version with a recent one. I have all those document types and everything. While I am upgrading my version I do not want to loose any of my data.

    So what I want to know is, is there any safe way to upgrade all necessary files. And which files I have to upgrade?

    First thing, make sure you take a backup of your files and the database.

    Then follow this:
