I have created a few diffrent sites using 4.7 this is my first ever 5 project.
OK this is my issue, ever since I started using umbraco I have always used a base document type that everything will inherit from...
It has properties like Page Redirect Alternative URL name isSecure SeoTitlte SeoDiscription umbracoNaviHide ETC
I found these useful as I could do things like hide any item in my content from a navigation, or manage the SEO content for every single item in the site....
So building my first umbraco site, I thought let me import the document type as my base......but there is NO IMPORT :-( I know version 5 is MVC but I thought this would be a fundamental thing that would be kept.....
These are my actuall questions 1. Is using a 'main main' document type comman practice....and if so are there standard docment types that everyone uses as a base?
2. Is this feature going to return to umbraco 5 at some point...
3. Should I just create this document type by had in umbraco 5? Or is there a way to import it...?
