    Problem opening umbraco gui

    Sorry if it's a stupid question, I installed umbraco 4.8.1 and if I navigate to http://mywebsite/umbraco I obtain a "file not found" error, I've to use http://mywebsite/umbraco/umbraco.aspx to open the backend, is it a normal behavior or I missed something during installation?

    You always need the trailing slash on the end of a /umbraco/ URL to get into the admin area.

    So: http://mywebsite.com/umbraco/

    I said that it was a stupid question. I was waiting for the welcome page that opens umbraco in popup like in version 2. Thanks.

    I've been in the habit of going straight to http://mywebsite.com/umbraco/umbraco.aspx for years.
