we are trying to set up our environement architecture for Umbraco. I want to ask if we can we use staging, development and test environments with one database? How does this work with domain names, that are stored in umbracoDomain database table?
Production database will be different and it is supposed to be updated via Courier.
You should be able to use the same database for you dev and test sites. You can assign a unique hostname on your site for each environment. It should not cause any trouble as far as I can tell from your description.
